Left hand side steering column stalk. This allows the cruise system to be switched on/off and to be set to the required speed with an up/down control. It also has 2 memories that allow the vehicle speed to be set to previously stored values

This control allows you to tap up or tap down the set speed by 1kph/0.62mph.

 

The Cruise Control system has built-in safety features which will automatically disengage the system if one or more of the following occur:-

1. Depressing the brake pedal.
2. Press the OFF/Coast button of the command module/stalk.
3. Over-rev of the engine (requires clutch switch or RPM sensing to be installed).
4. Decelerating to below 75% of the set speed.
5. Over speed dropout at 150% above the set speed.
6. Brake light bulbs or brake light fuse failure.

how easy to fit

It is easy to fit. You drill a 10mm hole at the top of the left hand steering column cowling, insert the threaded part of the stalk through the hole and secure with the nut provided. The wires from the control then have to be plugged-in to the main control unit.
